CNC parts, machined in Canada. Upload a CAD file, see your price in Canadian dollars, and get a machinist's sign off within a day.
No account needed. Files stay in your browser.
Up here, a late part means a crew standing in the cold.
The frac crew waiting on a flange. The data centre build that can't test a cooling loop. The robotics team with a demo on Friday and a bracket stuck in someone's quote queue. We built Highland for them.
No ticket queues. No invoices in US dollars. No week of phone tag for a price. Just parts, machined in Canada, checked by a machinist, shipped with the paperwork.
CAD to your door, fast
Highland is CNC machining with an instant quote. Upload a model, see the price, and get finished parts at your door. We handle everything in between.
PriceAn instant quote
Upload a STEP and see the price in seconds, in Canadian dollars. No sales call, and no waiting a week for a number.
MakeMachined in Canada
Cut in our partner shop in Canada, under your NDA. No border to cross, no customs brokerage, no counter tariffs.
ShipAt your door, fast
Ten business days as standard, or three on rush, shipped across Canada and to the US. Inspection reports and material certs when you add them.
How it works
01Upload your CAD
STEP, STL or DXF. Add the drawing if you have one. The price moves as you change material, quantity, tolerance and lead time. Nothing leaves your browser until you ask.
02A machinist checks it
A real machinist reads your drawing within one business day. You get a firm price, a ship date and straight answers. The firm price is what you pay.
03We cut and ship
Cut in our partner shop in Canada, under your NDA, signed before the shop opens your file. Add what your job needs when you order:
- A CMM inspection report, or a first article report to AS9102
- Mill certs with heat numbers traceable to each part

Questions
Who actually makes my parts?
We quote and manage every order. The cutting happens in our partner shop in Canada, which we vetted for the work. Your NDA covers the shop before it sees your files, and you deal with one person from quote to delivery.
How close is the instant price?
It comes from your geometry, material and options, and shows a likely range. A machinist checks every quote before it is firm, and the firm quote is the price you pay.
Why not order from a US quick turn site?
For simple aluminum parts they are hard to beat. For Canadian teams, a Canadian shop means prices in Canadian dollars, no customs brokerage or counter tariffs, and a person who reads your drawing before a chip is cut.
What files can I upload?
STEP, IGES, Rhino (3DM) and ACIS (SAT) price instantly from the model itself. STL and DXF work too. Parasolid and native SolidWorks or Inventor files go to a machinist for pricing. Add a PDF or photo of the drawing so tolerances and finishes get checked.
Is my CAD safe?
The instant price is worked out in your browser, so nothing is sent until you request a firm quote. A quote you build in your dashboard saves to your account as you work, so you can finish it on any device, and nobody at Highland sees it until you send it. We sign your NDA before any shop opens a file.
Do you do sheet metal or 3D printing?
No. We stick to machined parts, and investment casting is coming soon for shapes a mill can't reach. For flat laser cut or bent sheet parts, a sheet metal service will beat us on price and speed.
How fast do parts ship?
Ten business days is standard. Expedited is five and rush is three, plus time for any finish. Your firm quote gives the ship date.
What does shipping cost, and do you ship to the US?
Prices are in Canadian dollars before tax and shipping, and your firm quote lists both. We ship across Canada and to the US. For US orders, the firm quote shows any duties before you commit.
